Somewhere deep in the human heart there’s a longing for more. We want to live under the blessing of God. We want to enjoy His smile and His favor. But if we are honest, we face some serious challenges to living that way. What does a blessed life look like? How do you move in that direction? Where do you begin? No one knows where blessing is to be found more than Jesus Christ. In fact, Jesus opens what is commonly called, His Sermon on the Mount, with what has been called the Beatitudes. Over the next eight weeks we’ll explore what it looks like to make progress in our spiritual lives as learn from some of Jesus’ most famous teachings, the Beatitudes.
