The Cure for Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy is giving an impression of having certain purposes or motivations, while in reality having quite different ones. It was a problem for the religious leaders in Jesus’ day, and it is a problem for followers of Jesus today. In this message, we look at the warning that Jesus gave to his followers regarding hypocrisy and discover the cure he prescribes.

Isaiah 33:6 states that "The fear of the LORD is His [God's] treasure." The fear of the Lord is a treasure. It is a virtue that unlocks for us a greater understanding of who God is and draws us into deeper friendship with Him. It keeps us from sin and things that would take our lives off course, and it is the key to overcoming all other fears. This healthy, holy, and largely forgotten virtue is the uncommon path to a more fulfilled and fruitful life. In this series, we explore the wonderful treasure of holy fear.
