Down in the Pits
David faces a season of discouragement where he lost faith. No prayers prayed, no psalms written, no seeking God’s direction. In fact, David headed down a path of reasoning that took him far from God. But through pain, God brought David back. In this message, we explore three faulty perspectives that lead to the pits and what we can do to make our way back to God!

David became one of Israel’s greatest kings. His beginnings were that of as an obscure shepherd boy, but he became a warrior who brought rival nations to their knees. He was a king described as “a man after God’s own heart.” However, he was far from perfect. A king whose personal sins devastated not only his own family, but the nation. This series will explore the life of King David with spiritual lessons applicable to everyone. In triumph and in tragedy, this king points forward to a greater king to come.
