Two Dangerous Postures
Should we be afraid of God? In our world today, there is a growing system that dismisses the very notion that there is a God to whom we are accountable and will one day stand before. In this message, we discover two dangerous postures when it comes to the fear of the Lord.
From Series: "The Fear of the Lord"
Isaiah 33:6 states that "The fear of the LORD is His [God's] treasure." The fear of the Lord is a treasure. It is a virtue that unlocks for us a greater understanding of who God is and draws us into deeper friendship with Him. It keeps us from sin and things that would take our lives off course, and it is the key to overcoming all other fears. This healthy, holy, and largely forgotten virtue is the uncommon path to a more fulfilled and fruitful life. In this series, we explore the wonderful treasure of holy fear.
