Audio Visual Volunteer

Description: This ministry is to provide assistance to the youth pastor by running the computer and managing the sound during the worship service and Wednesday night activities. Ability to load set list and add new songs as needed.

Time Commitment: Approximately 2 hours/ week

Snack Shack Volunteer

Description: Setting up and selling snacks prior to youth service each Wednesday, keeping inventory of snacks and handling the cash box.

Time Commitment: Approximately 1 hour / week.

Youth Sponsor Volunteer

Description: This position provides an opportunity to speak into the lives of students to help them grow in their faith and to be a positive influence and role model for students.

Time Commitment: 2 hours/week (with additional activities.)

Youth Outreach/Missions Coordinator

Description: To be responsible for finding and coordinating outreach and missions opportunities within and outside our church setting. Be responsible for Speed the Light and help in setting monetary goals for the year.

Youth Activities Coordinator

Description: To be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing activities to promote fun, fellowship, spiritual development and ministry involvement.

Follow-up Volunteer

Description: To provide follow-up on new visitors, and those missing 2 or more weeks with a card or phone call. Maintain a database of all information and record weekly attendance and turn into office.

Youth Worship Team Leader

Description: To be passionate about reaching people through worship and creative use of arts and media, eager to recruit, train, nurture, direct and work with youth musicians to develop and lead worship.

Teen Bible Quiz

TBQ Coach

Description: The purpose of this ministry is to provide an opportunity for those in 6th through 12th grades to work together on teams to learn and understand questions and answers to multiple books of the Bible. Then utilizing cooperative quizzing, church teams meet together for multiple fun quizzing matches. The importance of this ministry is to teach children to hide God’s word in their heart as well as instilling within them a basic knowledge of the Bible.

Time Commitment: 2 hrs/wk during the TBQ season with the addition of 4 meets and 1 state meet plus mthly meetings

TBQ Quiz Assistant Coach

Description: The purpose of this ministry is to provide an opportunity for those in the 6th through 12th grades to work together on teams to learn and understand questions and answers to multiple books of the Bible. Then utilizing cooperative quizzing, church teams meet together for multiple fun quizzing matches. The importance of this ministry is in how you assist the coach during practice and at meets. The assistant coach will also lead a team that teaches children to hide God’s Word in their heart as well as instilling within them basic knowledge of the Bible.

Time Commitment: 2 hrs/wk during the TBQ season plus the addition of 4 meets and 1 state meet

TBQ Official

Description: The purpose of this ministry is to assist the coach during practices in the duties of timekeeping, scorekeeping and judging. During meets, one would carry out these same duties for the quizmaster.

Time Commitment: 2 hrs/wk during the TBQ season plus the addition of 4 meets and 1 state meet

TBQ Quizmaster

Description: The purpose of this ministry is to assist the coach during practices in the duties of running a mock quiz meet. During meets, one would officiate multiple rounds for one of the leagues. Must know the TBQ rule book, have clear communication skills in front of an audience, and familiarize themselves with the Bible Fact Pack.

Time Commitment: 2 hrs/wk during the TBQ season plus the addition of 4 meets and 1 state meet
